GGyess blog privacy notice

Updated .

This notice explains data processing on blog.ggyess.com. The controller is GLOADI LLC, Miami, United States. You can contact us at [email protected]. This notice covers the blog; other linked websites and services have their own notices.

Reading the blog and remembering preferences

You can read articles without accepting analytics. To deliver pages, protect the service and investigate faults, Cloudflare's hosting infrastructure processes technical connection data, including your IP address. Rejecting analytics does not prevent the processing needed to deliver the site. Depending on service settings, Cloudflare security checks may use technical cookies and browser signals; these are processed separately from optional analytics.

When you select a language, we store the functional ggyess_lang cookie. We also store your privacy choice in the functional __Host-ggyess_privacy cookie. If withdrawal cannot be confirmed over the network, ggyess_privacy_ui may remember the rejection to keep analytics off and retry withdrawal. All these preferences last up to 180 days and are not used as analytics identifiers. You can delete these cookies through your browser.

Optional analytics and your choice

Optional measurement requires a configuration enabled by the operator. Until it is enabled, we do not send analytics events, even if you have expressed a preference.

We enable optional measurement only after you accept analytics. Permission is used to improve this blog's content, navigation and performance; it does not authorize advertising or tracking on other sites. You can reject, configure or withdraw permission through the privacy preferences in the footer. Withdrawal stops new optional measurements.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track, we keep analytics disabled. We only enable it in countries previously authorized by the operator after review. We also disable it for connections identified as originating in China and when we cannot determine the connection's country.

What we measure if you accept

Counts are grouped by day, event, page, language and country. Analytics does not store IP addresses, user agents, URL parameters, fragments, referrer text, visitor identifiers or individual browsing histories. We do not record sessions, keystrokes, form contents or device fingerprints. Clicks to GGyess measure departures from the blog only; they do not confirm a purchase, registration or other action at the destination.

Retention and evidence of permission

We keep measurement aggregates for up to 400 days and automatically delete older entries. To document privacy choices and check withdrawal of permission, we keep a random pseudonymous receipt with the date, notice version and selection for up to 180 days. This receipt is kept separate from events, is not stored in statistics and is not used to reconstruct your browsing. Local preferences expire within 180 days.

Operational information needed for hosting and security is processed separately from these statistics. Cloudflare may retain technical data according to its service and the infrastructure configuration; the 180-day and 400-day periods describe active records managed by this application, not all infrastructure logs. Provider backups may be subject to additional service retention periods.

Providers and international transfers

Cloudflare provides hosting and technical processing for the blog as an infrastructure provider. GLOADI LLC operates from the United States, and Cloudflare infrastructure may process data in other countries. Site delivery and handling requests can therefore involve international transfers. We do not sell analytics data or share it for cross-site advertising.

Your rights and how to contact us

Depending on applicable law, you may request information or access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability or withdrawal of consent, and complain to the competent data protection authority. Email [email protected] with your request. We will only ask for proportionate information needed to handle it and verify that it concerns you.

Because we do not associate aggregates with visitors, we cannot identify which counts relate to you. We do not collect new identifiers solely to link you to statistics. If you have a consent receipt you would like us to review or delete, you can mention it when contacting us. Rejecting analytics does not limit access to articles.

Changes to this notice

We will publish changes here with their date. If analytics purposes change, we will request a new choice before enabling those measurements.
